scuba dive, take a PADI Open Water Diver course, the most widely recognized and
respected diving certification in the world.
Within a few days, you can be enjoying the underwater world.
This exciting five day course is a qualification for life to a
depth of 18 metres.
As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, you'll have the freedom to
dive with a buddy independent of a professional.
If you already tried a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience or
are PADI Scuba Diver certified, check with your instructor to see how credit

What the course covers
You’ll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive
equipment and techniques.
You'll earn this rating by completing five pool dives and
knowledge development sessions and by making four open water (ocean or lake)
dives.
The course is split into two parts. The first 3 days of pool and
theory take place at Andark, (or Home Study - see Timetable details below), and
the final two days for the 4 qualifying dives are at a suitable (and safe) open
water training site. (See timetable details below for the various ways that you
can complete these two parts

Site entrance fee: There is an entrance fee for open water dives requiring
entry to an inland site, payable daily by the student. Current fees: Horsea
Island: £10.00, Stoney Cove £15.00. Boat fees, where applicable, start at £15.00
per dive.

Mask, Snorkel, Boots and Fins (Gloves are also recommended for the winter
months). Student discounts available on all these items in the Andark shop.
