PADI Search and Recovery Diver

Lost something? This course will familiarize you with the skills, hazards and fun of search and recovery diving. This is a safe and supervised introduction to this activity.

Prerequisite qualifying courses

• PADI Advanced Open Water or Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization).
• PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization) who also holds PADI Underwater Navigator.

Minimum age

• 12 years.

• Skills required for searching and recovering items.
• Minimizing the hazards of searching.

What it will cost, and what you’ll need

• Course fee: £150.00.
• Manual: £15.00 (reduced from £16.95 if bought alongside the course)
• Site entrance fee: There is an entrance fee for open water dives requiring entry to an inland dive site, payable daily by the student. Current fees: Horsea Island: £10.00, Stoney Cove or Vobster Quay £15.00. Boat fees from £15.00 per dive.
• Mask, Snorkel, Boots and Fins (Gloves are also recommended for the winter months). Student discounts available on all these items in the Andark shop.
• Medical Declaration (details on Course Booking and Payment page).
• Proof of qualification and experience, (log book and cards), must be provided on day one of the course.

Notes

All courses run from 9am to 5:30pm (approximately) and a minimum of 3 people is required for a course to run, unless otherwise stated.
